Executive Chef/General Manager
Chef Jeff Christiansen discovered his love of food after graduating from Iowa State University and moving to the beautiful, food-rich city of Chicago. After spending 12 years in the advertising industry, Jeff opted for a career change and enrolled in the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago. Jeff’s first job in the hospitality industry was at the W Hotel in Chicago’s famed downtown loop. That was followed by a position at TRU Restaurant, a world-renowned restaurant offering progressive French cuisine. After moving to Austin, Jeff worked at the Lake Austin Spa Resort and eventually landed at Hudson’s on the Bend in Lakeway as Sous Chef before joining Chateau Bellevue as Executive Chef in 2010. His food philosophy is simple food, freshly prepared.

Caitlin was born in a small Texas town and found her way to Austin in 2009. She graduated from Texas State University in 2014 with a degree in Anthropology. When she isn’t at work, she can probably be found somewhere in the great outdoors, trying new recipes in the kitchen, curled up with a good book, discovering new films, or spending time with friends and family. A lover of all things historic, she already feels right at home at Chateau Bellevue despite being the newest member of the team.
